Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking a Warehouse Operator for our Elevator Equipment Corporation location, in Richmond, IN. Hyperion is constantly looking for talented, self-motivated, skilled team members to join our team. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting in our goal to build high quality elevator components.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Day-to-day management of the EECO warehouse
? Familiarity with inventory control and cycle counting
? Unload inbound containers and mark stock items using barcodes
? Receive and count stock items, from either suppliers or vendors
? Unpack items to be stocked on shelves and warehouse floor
? Pack, seal, and label to prepare materials for shipping
? Ensure shipment and inventory transaction accuracy
? Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas
? Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with safety regulations
? Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
? Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment and the physical upkeep of the warehouse
? Ensure productivity objectives and processing time goals are met
? Maintains a cooperative relationship with all departments while interfacing with Operations Manager, Warehouse Supervisor and Project Managers to answer questions or solve problems
? Provide assistance or direction to warehouse co-workers
? Identify areas of improvement to establish, innovative, or adjust existing work procedures and practices
? Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
? High school diploma or equivalent preferred
? 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
? Must be able to read a tape measure
? Requires exercising good judgment
? Requires attention to detail
? Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
? Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for up to 8 hours per day
